Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the InfoPlex Roofing website and form the basis of any quotation or service we provide to clients in Malaysia.
About these terms
By using infoplex.pro or engaging InfoPlex Roofing Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 202301021847 / 1517284-K) for any roofing service, you agree to the terms set out below. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
Use of the website
The content of this site is published for general informational purposes about our services. While we work to keep information accurate and current, we make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or that articles reflect the most recent industry standards at any given moment.
You may not reproduce material from this site for commercial purposes without our written consent, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or use automated means to scrape, mirror or harvest content.
Quotations and engagement
Quotations issued by InfoPlex Roofing remain valid for thirty days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. A quotation becomes a binding agreement once you accept it in writing (email is sufficient) and we acknowledge acceptance. Prices include applicable taxes unless explicitly noted.
Scope and changes
The scope of work is defined in the accepted quotation. Variations or additional works requested during the project are documented through a written variation order, separately priced and only commenced after your approval.
Payment terms
Unless otherwise agreed, repair work is invoiced on completion with payment due within seven days. Full replacement projects are typically split into a deposit at confirmation, an interim payment at the agreed midpoint, and a final payment on completion. Late payments may attract interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum permitted by Malaysian law, whichever is lower.
Workmanship warranty
InfoPlex Roofing provides a written workmanship warranty on every project — typically 10 years for full replacements and 2 years for repair work. The warranty covers our installation but does not cover damage caused by storms beyond the design tolerance of the material, structural movement of the building, third-party works on the same roof area, or lack of reasonable maintenance.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel a scheduled project with at least seventy-two hours' notice without charge. Cancellation within seventy-two hours may attract a mobilisation fee where materials have already been ordered or crews scheduled. Rescheduling requests are accommodated where possible at no additional cost.
Liability
Our total liability for any project is limited to the value of the project itself. We carry RM 2 million in public liability insurance for the duration of any works and a certificate is available on request. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of rental income or business interruption.
Force majeure
Neither party is in breach of these terms for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control — including but not limited to severe weather, government orders, civil disturbance or industry-wide supply shortages. Where such delays occur we communicate revised timelines in writing as soon as practical.
