Independent inspections. Written records.

Insurance assessors, lawyers and property buyers all rely on the same thing: a documented record of a roof's condition on a given date. We produce reports built for that use.

What an InfoPlex inspection covers

Every inspection is conducted by a senior roofer with a minimum of seven years on the tools — never a junior with a checklist. The output is a PDF report typically twelve to twenty pages long, formatted for insurance and legal use.

  • Visual and tactile survey of all accessible roof surfaces
  • Attic walk-through to assess underlay, truss timber and insulation
  • Photographic record (typically 40–80 images) cross-referenced to a roof plan
  • Drone overflight for steep, fragile or hard-to-access sections
  • Thermal imaging of suspect leak zones where weather permits
  • Written assessment of remaining service life, priority repairs and cost estimates

When clients call us for inspections

  • Pre-purchase: Independent opinion before signing the sale and purchase agreement.
  • Insurance: Documented support for storm or water damage claims.
  • Handovers: Verification before accepting a developer's defect liability period.
  • Annual maintenance: A baseline that lets us track condition year on year.
  • Dispute resolution: Neutral assessments when contractor and owner disagree.

Turnaround

Inspections are typically conducted within five working days of booking. The written report follows within three working days of the site visit — faster if you are working to a transaction deadline.
